I had seen these in the frozen fruit section of the supermarket, and I thought, “Well, I can definitely make these on my own!” Mine of course are not as pretty looking but they do the trick.
I’ve found that these are a great little sweet treat, as the frozen bananas give them an ice cream-feel. And, as we all know, banana, peanut butter and chocolate are a great combo!
It’s also super easy!
Course: Snack
Servings: 12ish!
Cook time: 5 Minutes
Ingredients
Bananas
Peanut butter
Semi-sweet dark chocolate chips
Directions
Slice up a ripe banana in 1/2 inch pieces. (I made mine a little too big the first time).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the slices of banana on to your baking sheet, and layer on a dollop of peanut butter.
Melt some semi-sweet dark chocolate chips either in a microwave or stove top.
Drizzle (or dowse the whole thing) in melted chocolate.
Place the bites in the freezer for at least 30 minutes or until frozen.
