I’ve been trying to prolong the summer days (how did it get cold and windy so quickly??), so I’m bringing tie dye to the party! I recently bought a DIY tie dye kit, scavenged my house for new (and old!) white shirts, and practiced patience as I waited the dye to get absorbed into my shirts. There’s something about being outside and tapping into your inner creative self that speaks to me. Not to mention getting a little messy! I highly recommend setting up a tarp or big trash bag prior to dying the shirts.
I played around with a few styles and color intensities, so enjoy the range of garments below! I was going for a washed-and-worn look, a cotton-candy vibe, and a floral splatter. If you have a white #TeamLovewell shirt, tag me in your posts! For my mask, I tried to recreate the iconic red-white-and-blue rocket popsicle look… Do you think I made it? Click through the pics below.
Let me know if you’ve tie dyed before!
