Dishing out all the details on one of my favorite parts of hosting.

I left you hanging when it came to my table setting and desserts (I know two of the most important parts!) I wanted to make sure I had every detail before sharing it with you. 🧡 I think i’m most excited about my new dining room table I just got that has not one, but TWO extenders so I can fit up to 10 people at the table! Who’s coming for dinner?

Table Setting

I’m known to go down deep Pinterest rabbit holes when it comes to Thanksgiving place settings. After all, they’re gorgeous. Tartan or plaid, rich oranges or greens, fresh flowers or edible centerpieces? The options are endless.

This year, I’m planning to focus on natural fibers, and have taken hosting as an opportunity to make some upgrades. Want to come shopping with me?! Here’s what I’ve picked.

• This gorgeous set of dinnerware, with matching serving platter. I love their organic feel and how each piece is unique. Ideal for the rustic, natural vibe I’m going for. 
• Burnt orange linen napkins, which manage to be a shade I’ll use all year round, while still feeling like they belong on a Thanksgiving table.
• Wood band napkin rings, which I think will pair nicely with the burnt orange and whatever ends up coming in from my garden.
• Chilewich basketweave round placemats, to set the scene in a simple and elegant way.
• Glass taper candlesticks in amber to scatter across the table. The delicately ribbed glass feels ever-so-fancy, but not at all stuffy. I also opted for some new textured wine glasses in a similar amber hue.
• This wooden server cake stand with a glass dome, to house the cheese plate, a pie, or even a collection of carefully placed pinecones!

I’m excited to place them all on my table and to adorn them all with food, family and memories.
