I don’t always drink coffee, but when I do, it’s almost always cold brew. And no, cold brew is not just coffee with lots of ice in it. It’s actually a coffee drink that’s steeped overnight to let the flavors come out naturally… But I digress.
One of my pet peeves is having the ice cubes melt and dilute my drink if I don’t drink it fast enough. To avoid this problem, I make extra cold brew and freeze them into cubes. So now instead of adding regular ice to my morning brew, I pop 2-3 of these guys in.
This is also a great use for leftover hot coffee. Just let it cool to room temperature before pouring into molds. There isn’t an easier, more creative way to use what you have. Just a simple way to waste less, and enjoy more!
